Professional in Business Analysis (PBA)

Business analysis is the discipline that sits between the person asking and the solution that gets built. The PBA credential from the Project Management Institute recognises exactly that role: not writing requirements, but drawing out the real need behind the request and turning it into something that can be built, tested and accepted.

The programme walks the full analysis cycle: needs assessment before a project is even approved, planning the analysis approach, elicitation and stakeholder collaboration, requirements analysis and traceability, and finally solution evaluation after delivery — the stage most often skipped and the most expensive to skip. Sessions are built on cases where you write a requirement, trace it, and respond to a change halfway through.

It suits a business analyst, a systems analyst, a product owner, or a project manager who finds themselves writing the requirements and wants a framework to stand on. It also suits anyone in a digital-transformation office where management decisions become systems.

As with the awarding body's other credentials, documented experience is required and the exam fee is paid directly to them, separately from the programme fee. We check both with you before you book.
