Terms and Conditions

This page governs your relationship with Asmaa Academy for Training: what we provide, what we expect from you, and what happens when things do not go to plan. Read it before you reserve a seat — reserving one means you accept it.

Work in progress: the site is currently shown as a design preview. No registration or payment takes place here and no data is collected. These terms take effect on the day registration actually opens, and are subject to review by a qualified adviser before then. Anything in square brackets is an official detail still to be supplied.

Who we are, and how to reach us

"Asmaa Academy" is the name we trade under. The legal entity is Asmaa Al-Nujoom Training Academy (أكاديمية أسماء النجوم للتدريب), a Saudi establishment entered in the Commercial Register under number 1010968848, unified establishment number 7037751554, at 6591 Abdullah bin Al-Harith, Al-Uraija Al-Gharbi, Riyadh 14921. It is licensed to carry out training activity under training facility licence 19187335022483, issued by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. VAT registration number [[VAT_NUMBER]]. Our verified page on the Maroof platform: [[MAROOF_URL]]. Reach us by email at asmaasafwa6@gmail.com, or by phone and WhatsApp on +966545299405 and +966541023041. We reply Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm Riyadh time. Where this page says "the academy" or "we", it means Asmaa Al-Nujoom Training Academy. Where it says "the trainee" or "you", it means anyone who registers on one of our programmes or uses this site.

What these terms cover, and accepting them

These terms apply to your use of the academy's site and to every booking made through it. Reserving a seat on any course confirms that you have read and accepted them, and that you have the legal capacity to be bound by them. Read them alongside the privacy policy and alongside what the course page itself states: hours, level, delivery mode, start date and price. The course page supplements these terms, and where the two differ, the course page prevails for that course alone. This page is published in Arabic and English. The Arabic text governs if the two differ in meaning.

What we provide

We run training courses across sixteen fields, delivered as cohorts: a group that begins on a set date and ends on a set date, online through a meetings platform or on site, as published. Each course page states its hours, level, delivery mode, start date, number of seats and price. Each cohort has its own WhatsApp group for coordination and follow-up, and it stays open after the course ends, because belonging to the community here does not end when the programme does. On completion we issue you a certificate, as detailed in the certificates section below. What we do not provide should be equally clear: we do not guarantee a job, a promotion or an income; we do not register you for external awarding bodies' exams or pay their fees; and we do not supply devices, internet access, or travel visas for on-site courses.

Who can register, and your account

Registration is open to anyone aged 18 or over. For anyone younger, a parent or guardian registers on their behalf, and that guardian is the party to this agreement, responsible for the fees and for the trainee's compliance with the conduct rules. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — your name as you want it on the certificate, your email, your mobile number and your country — and for updating it if it changes. The name printed on the certificate is taken from your registration details, and correcting it after issue takes time. You sign in through a link sent to your email, so there is no password for us to lose. Keep your inbox secure: whoever reaches it reaches your account. Accounts are personal and not to be shared, and a seat is for one person. If a registration turns out to have been made with false details or in someone else's name, we may cancel it, and the refund section then applies.

Booking and seat confirmation

A booking has two stages. When you complete the registration form your booking is pending, and the seat is still available to others. It is only held in your name once the payment gateway's confirmation reaches us, at which point the booking becomes confirmed and the seat comes off the count. The part worth knowing: the success page you see after paying is not the confirmation. The confirmation that counts is the one our servers receive from the gateway, and you see it as an email containing your receipt and your cohort's WhatsApp invite. If you have been charged and no email arrives within an hour, contact us rather than trying again. Seats are limited, and registration for a cohort closes automatically when the seats are taken or when its start date arrives, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel a registration that breaches these terms, refunding what was paid. If a cohort does not reach its minimum number of registrations, we may postpone or cancel it under "If we cancel or postpone" below.

Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and include value added tax at 15%. The price you see on the course page is exactly what you pay: no registration fee, no certificate issuing fee, and nothing added at checkout. We issue you an electronic tax invoice for the amount paid, sent to your email with the confirmation message. Coupons are applied before payment and their effect is visible in the final amount. Each coupon has its own conditions, validity period and usage limit; two coupons cannot be combined on one booking; and a coupon cannot be applied retroactively to a booking already made. Any later refund is for the amount you actually paid, not the pre-discount price. We may change prices for future cohorts at any time. That does not affect a booking already made and paid at the price published at the time. If you pay with a card issued outside the Kingdom, your bank may add currency conversion or international transaction fees. Those are your bank's charges, not ours; we neither control nor refund them.

Payment methods

We accept mada, Apple Pay and international credit cards, through a licensed payment gateway ([[PAYMENT_PROVIDER]]) operating under the supervision of the Saudi Central Bank. Your card details are entered on the gateway's own page. They never pass through our servers and we store none of them. All we receive is the outcome of the transaction and its reference at the gateway. Payment is due in full at the time of booking: no instalments, no part payments, no paying on the day. If a payment fails or you are charged twice by mistake, send us the transaction reference and we will sort it out. If you raise a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your access to the course until the dispute is resolved.

Refund policy

Before the cohort starts: you may cancel your booking and have a full refund of everything you paid, without giving a reason, at any time before the published start date. A request sent from the email address you registered with is enough. After the cohort starts: the service has begun, so fees are not refundable. If the reason is that the level does not suit you, the next section applies instead: we move you to what fits, at no difference in price. Not attending, or dropping out, does not create a right to a refund. In all cases we refund in full if we cancel the cohort, if we postpone it and the new date does not suit you, if you were charged twice or incorrectly, or if you could not access the course for a reason on our side that we failed to fix within a reasonable time. Nothing is refunded once a certificate of completion has been issued in your name, or where your registration is ended for a serious breach under the suspension section. How refunds are made: to the same payment method you used, in full and with no payment gateway fee deducted, within no more than 15 days of the request being accepted. Your bank may need extra days before the amount appears in your account. This policy does not reduce any right given to you by the E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulations or by consumer protection rules in the Kingdom.

Moving between cohorts and deferring your seat

If you start a course and find the level does not suit you — higher than you need, or lower than you expected — tell us and we will move you to the cohort or track that fits, at no difference in price: you pay nothing extra if the new programme costs more, and we refund no difference if it costs less. Ask before you have completed [[TRANSFER_WINDOW]] of the course hours; this applies once, and depends on seats being available in the target cohort. Before a cohort starts, you may also defer your seat to a later cohort of the same course, once, free of charge, provided it is used within 12 months of your original booking. A seat is personal: it can only be transferred to another person with our written approval and before the cohort starts.

If we cancel or postpone

We may have to postpone or cancel a cohort if it does not reach its minimum number of registrations, if the trainer becomes unavailable, or because of circumstances beyond our control. We will tell you as early as we can, by email and in the cohort group. The choice is then yours: move to the next cohort of the same course, take a credit for what you paid to use on any other course within 12 months, or have a full refund. We may change a cohort's trainer, the timing of individual sessions, or the order of topics for operational reasons, with notice, and while preserving the published hours and learning outcomes. If we have to convert an on-site course to online delivery, or change the city it runs in, you may cancel and have a full refund if the change does not suit you. We do not cover travel, accommodation or leave costs you incurred because of a postponement or cancellation; we refund the course fees only.

Certificates: what they mean, and what they do not

On completing a course, the academy issues a certificate of completion in your name, carrying the course title, its hours, the issue date, a serial number and a public verification code. Any employer can check it by entering the code on the verification page of our site, which shows the certificate as valid or not valid without revealing anything about you beyond your name and the course title. A certificate is issued when your registration is confirmed and paid, you have completed the course lessons, and you have passed the course quiz where the course has one. This point we want to be unmistakable: the certificate is issued by Asmaa Academy for Training alone, and it evidences the completion of training with us. It is not an academic qualification. It is not a professional licence. It is not equivalency-certified by the Ministry of Education or any government body. And it does not amount to accreditation by any external awarding body. Courses that prepare you for an international certification — PMP and the like — are preparation courses, nothing more. The international certificate is awarded by its awarding body alone (PMP, for example, is awarded by PMI), through that body's own exam, under its own eligibility conditions, and for its own fees. Our course fee does not include that exam fee, membership fees or registration with the awarding body, and we do not guarantee that you will pass. The names and trademarks of those certifications belong to their owners; we use them descriptively only, and they imply no partnership or accreditation between us unless the course page says so explicitly. Any accreditation the academy itself holds is named, with its number, on the relevant course page. It is never to be inferred from general wording.

The cohort group and conduct rules

Every cohort has a WhatsApp group for coordinating and staying in touch with the trainer and your fellow trainees, and it remains after the course ends. Joining is optional and encouraged, and it is not a condition for your certificate. WhatsApp is a third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. It is in the nature of groups there that your mobile number and display name are visible to other members; if that does not suit you, tell us and we will follow up with you by email. In the group and in sessions we all commit to the same things: courtesy in what we say, staying on the subject of the course, no advertising, marketing or recruiting members for any commercial purpose, no political or sectarian argument, no publishing anyone's number, photo or messages outside the group, and no recording or filming sessions or republishing their material. We warn anyone who breaks these rules, and if it is repeated we remove them from the group or the session. Removal from the group alone does not end your registration and does not create a right to a refund. If you are harassed or you see something that breaches these rules, write to the email above and we will act.

Intellectual property and acceptable use

Everything you see on the site and in a course — texts, slides, files, recordings, quizzes, the design, the logo and the trade name — belongs to the academy, its trainers or its licensors, and is protected by the Kingdom's copyright law and by international conventions. Your paid booking grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the course material for your own learning. That is the whole of the licence. So you may not record or film sessions, download material beyond what is made available to you, publish or upload it to any platform, share it or share attendance links or your sign-in with anyone else, sell it, teach from it, use it to build a competing programme, or extract it automatically with any tool. A breach exposes you to suspension of access and termination of your registration without refund, and does not prevent us from pursuing our rights at law. What you produce — your assignments, your contributions and your course review — remains yours. You grant us a licence to display it within the course and to keep it in your training record. We do not publish your name, photo or opinion in our marketing material without your separate, explicit consent.

Your data and your privacy

We collect what we need to run your registration: your name, email, mobile number and country, your attendance and progress record and quiz results, and the payment transaction details as they reach us from the gateway. The full picture — the purpose, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how to request a copy of your data or its deletion — is in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. As noted above, your card details never reach us at all. The certificate verification page shows nothing about you beyond your name and the course title. We process your data in line with the Kingdom's Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations. For any request or complaint about your data: [[PRIVACY_CONTACT]].

The limits of our responsibility

We undertake to deliver the training described on the course page with reasonable professional care, for the hours and outcomes published. We do not guarantee a particular result: not a job, not a promotion, not an income, not a successful venture, and not passing an external body's exam. What you take from training depends on your own effort and circumstances, which are outside our control. We are not responsible for what is outside our hands: your internet connection, a fault with your device, or an outage at the third-party platforms we use for meetings, messaging or video hosting. In all cases, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a course does not exceed the amount you actually paid for that course, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit. Nothing in this section excludes liability that the law does not permit us to exclude, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or personal injury.

Suspending access and ending a registration

We may suspend your access or end your registration where payment is incomplete or reversed by a chargeback, where the registration was made with false details, where course material is leaked or an account shared, where a trainer or another trainee is abused, or where the conduct rules are breached after a warning. We start with a warning wherever that is possible and appropriate, and we explain the reason for the decision. Where the termination is for a serious breach, no refund is due. Where we end a registration for a reason that is not down to you, we refund the value of the part of the course you did not receive. You may stop attending whenever you wish; the money side remains governed by the refund section alone.

Governing law and resolving disputes

These terms, and anything arising from them, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whatever your country of residence or nationality. If you have a dispute with us, start by writing to asmaasafwa6@gmail.com. We undertake to reply within 5 working days and to try to reach an amicable resolution. In our experience most of what looks like a dispute is a misunderstanding that one message resolves. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the Ministry of Commerce through its official channels or its unified number 1900, and you may bring the matter before the competent judicial authority in the Kingdom.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms as our services or the rules governing them change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page; we keep previous versions and will provide any of them on request. Where an amendment is material — touching prices, refunds, certificates or the limits of our responsibility — we notify registered trainees by email [[NOTICE_DAYS]] before it takes effect. The rule we hold ourselves to: your booking is governed by the version of these terms in force on the day you registered, and an amendment does not apply to it retroactively. Continuing to use the site, or booking again after an amendment takes effect, means you accept the new text for that booking.

Questions about this page

If anything here is unclear, if you would like a copy in a format you can keep, or if you think you have spotted a mistake, write to asmaasafwa6@gmail.com or message +966545299405 on WhatsApp. We would rather you asked before you paid.
